Communication Sound Effects

Picture the scene: there is a fast paced police chase, the criminals are weaving in and out of traffic while the camera cuts back and fourth between scenes inside the robber’s car, the street outside and the interior of the police car. Mixed in with the sound of sirens, tyres screeching and most likely things being hit will be the radio communication between the officers in the car and the radio dispatcher. These radio sequences add drama and help create the true effect of the emergency situation as it unfolds. So we’ve released a range of different free radio chat sound effects that you can use for this exact purpose. Some are generic words and phrases while others are genuine codes used by police in the real world. We also have radio chatter between pilots and the control tower and astronauts and mission control.
